Anyway, this new website is a big improvement.

9/11 ruined all the fun in "back to school" for Muslims.   I’m kinda bitter about it.

I’ve been wondering what to post on 9/11. I dropped a little something on my blog, but haven’t got a clue what’s worth posting on the front page of this site.

The usual platitudes and words of solidarity just don’t seem to cut it. I can’t imagine what I can say that hasn’t been said already, can’t imagine what I can add to the conversation. In the absence of something substantive to say, I decided to say nothing at all…

Yah, I just thought I would be bitter about the terrorists and the need to be sanctimonious because they decided to ruin everyone’s lives.  I feel what Imam Zaid said too well in the context of the Cartoon Fiasco.  He said something like they ought to check with us first before they act and try to ruin everything we’ve been working for.  Otherwise, we’ll have to go it alone.
