In Anticipation of Spring
With trembling longing
I contemplate the falling leaves
Of autumn
twirling gently to the sodden earth
in golden cascades of red yellow and orange
With trembling anticipation
I await the wondrous budding
Of spring
arising in pink rose petals
like hair atop a glorious head
breaking through the carpet bombing
of a chemo blasted baldness
Dancing wildly with thick entangled curls!
Curls caressing the warm lavender Spring!

Ginan,
I know you with your huge sense of humor, soaking in an incredible responsible intelligence, not only for your society (your people) but for the humanity of the world.
Now I’m struck by your courage, so obvious through your trembling. I’m impressed how seamlessly you used soft metaphors and I’m happy to see that you’re directing your creative energy to such an imagery that is so vivid.
Yes, the good news is coming soon with the colorful hurried spring.
