I haven't been posting because, well, I haven't been thinking in that "committed progressive theoretical up on my soap box" way lately.  I've been happy, sleeping, working, researching, doing other things like cleaning my apartment and organizing my dvds.  Then I thought this morning…wait a sec!  I am a progressive Muslim, then anything I am into is "progressive Islam" is it not?  Okay, I don't think that.  You caught me.  This is merely a ploy so that I might post some errata and call it progressive Islam cause I got naught else to write about:

This you tube video is astoundingly fantastic.  The faith healer Benny Hinn put to song….the song also happens to be used as the intro music for Extreme Championship Wrestling, so we have double happiness on this one. 

Wrestlemania is getting closer.  Mike Knight, the Buddy Kathleen, an as yet unnamed companion, and I are driving out to Detroit (i'a) for a weekend of mythological battles over good and evil.  Muhammad Ali might make an appearance.  If so, how can anyone doubt God's purpose in all this?  It is my goal to get photos with all the wrestlers there with Muslim gimmicks.  In my fervor, I created a myspace page for Muslim wrestling gimmicks.  Note who my friends are….  Never say I do not have the coolest friends, ever!

Mike Knight and I will be attending (i'a) a wrestling seminar to be held by Ted DiBiase, the Million Dollar Man in upstate NY.  Mike knew the guy running the school so he agreed to let us attend.  We will likely observe and only learn how to take bumps and run the ropes. 

I have been exercising wearing these really weird shoes.  They are awesome.  I walk my treadmill while I watch professional wrestling and lift light weights for my upper body.  But the shoes are weird.  Like weird.  They actually work out all sorts of parts of the body you wouldn't expect like my abs.  So going six pack!  Not.  But seriously the shoes are wild.  They work. 

The Sci Fi channel has this new "drive in" feature showing old movies streaming on line.  AWESOME.  Please watch "Killers from Space."

And….my feral cat Molé is domesticating nicely.  God protect her and the Cous, they are good kitties.  Despite their accounts of their lives in their blog, they actually like each other.   

God protect us all and increase us in good health and good things.  It doesn't always happen that we get a bit of level ground to walk on in life.  Alhamdolelah, I am grateful for it.  May God cover us and protect us and give us the wisdom to enjoy His blessings, learn from them, and share our good fortune with others.  For those not on level ground, like Ginan, may God grant her health and ease and beauty and a complete recovery.  Ginan is a beautiful woman inwardly and outwardly, may God protect her and preserve her and reward her for her love of justice and compassion for those who suffer.  God is generous in his love, care, and compassion.  May He heal us all and guide us all to beauty.  Amin.
