eteraz on reddit

On Ran Prieur's recommendation, I've been glancing over reddit lately, and noticed "Huge News: Egyptian Highest Cleric Says No Death Penalty For Apostasy.  Muslims can leave Islam!"--that's the title the redditor gave it--citing eteraz.wordpress.com.

Am I supposed to applaud this f-ing cleric (who I know is the grand grandaddy of Egypt) for finally saying it's ok to not kill so-called apostates? Call me when he finally realizes that apostacy itself is a fabirication put in place to oppress the weak. I hope eteraz's article is read as tongue-in-cheek with a healthy dose of sarcasm.

Some people are so stuck in a ditch of violence and malaise they wank-off everytime some imam says it's not ok to gauge out a women's vagina.

Uh... hmmm... what took you so long? Oh yeah, interest groups, popularity, $$$, etc.

Stupid people give stupid people power to be stupid towards stupid people.

"Nothing is true. Everything's permitted." And all that liberatory jazz.
