"Punjabi Taliban" the new threat in the "heartland of Pakistan" (Rawalpindi, Islamabad, Lahore)

Afghan/Pushtun nationalists have rejected the inception of the "Indian Muslim commonwealth" because of the Durand line which divides the Pushtun people between two states, a frontier imposed by the British Raj. Pakistan used "jihadi" militants as a means to control and exert control over the internal affairs of Afghanistan and occupied Pushtunistan. These Punjabi militants were used to fight proxy wars against India, four times its size and six times as many people, with a larger Muslim population than all of Pakistan. Pakistan when it was created, made the bold declaration, it was to "further the interest of India's Muslims" which led to the raise of Hindu nationalism, which sees Islam as a foreign "Arab/Persian/Turkish" religion which destroyed thousands of temples and even constructed Muslim monuments on Hindu sacred real estate.

India is home to the only major pagan religion left and still practiced by a significant size of humanity. Hinduism's resistance against repeated periods of imposed Muslim rule is short of amazing.

Zoroastrianism's resistance in Iran and Afghanistan was not successful.

Now it seems, the Hindu notion of "karma" has come to bit that nation in the ass.
